Past Exhibitions
'MY DNA' BBA Gallery Sydney 2002
This body of work has its genesis in a series of paintings called Galaxy Gateways where Bronwyn Bancroft's artistic concerns extended far beyond the human condition to encompass the notion of the birth of the universe.
My DNA returns to a more personal viewpoint but still continues the journey past the notion of birth into the realms of conception. On a painterly level the washes of colour enhance the geometric complexity of the mark making, producing pictures of great beauty and conceptual depth. (Bryan Hooper-BBA Gallery)

'With and Without You' Ivan Doughety Gallery Sydney 2002
'With and Without You' is a poignant and sensitive exhibition pertaining to art in the era of HIV / AIDS and includes International Artists from New York, Singapore, Philippines and The Ukraine.
I was invited to exhibit a series of posters entitled 'Everybody's Business' that I painted for The Australian Department of Health in 1992, to highlight health, education and caring about AIDS in the Aboriginal Community. Copyright Bronwyn Bancroft |
